Principal’s Message
Dear South/West Park Parents and Community,
It is hard to believe that our school year has come to an end, but Mrs. Sanchez and I are excited for the new school year. As we prepare for the new school year, let us focus on our school’s core values, which are to “Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be safe”. We are committed to working hard to ensure the success of our students. This school year promises to be a year filled with opportunities for all students as we strive to find ways to help them improve academically and as we support their social growth. It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed, connected, and part of the South/West Park family.
At South/West Park we have teachers who spend hours planning and creating classroom activities to engage our students in learning. Additionally, we strive to challenge each student to grow in their academic abilities, as they work to their fullest potential.
To all of our new families, welcome to our school! We are excited to share all that our school has to offer you. Our teachers, support staff, and families are ready to welcome you. At SWP we highly value home-school communication. It plays an integral role in our students’ success.
It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build a positive relationship that supports academic and social growth.
Let’s make this 2025-2026 school year another successful year for all!
Sincerely,
Juan Lopez
SWP Principal
